Baliraja Agro Tourism Centre was founded in 2014 and officially opened for public in year 2015, by Mr. Ashok Tawate who recedes at Malgaon of Sangli district of Maharashtra state in India. In year 2014, he came across a new concept of Agro Tourism. So Mr. Ashok Tawate decided to follow this new concept and he turned out to be lucky due to his habit of planting trees on his farm land at Malgaon location. His habit of planting trees during his earlier days helped him to build this site in quite a short span and saved lot of efforts to convert a barren agricultural land into Agro Tourism Centre.
Finally in March 2015, Baliraja Agro Tourism Centre came into existence and it became the first agro tourism centre in western part of Maharashtra. Today after five years in 2021 Baliraja Agro Tourism has overcome almost 90 percent of its initial problems and it’s one of the successful and best Agro tourism projects in Maharashtra and performing its routine activities very smoothly. Today, Baliraja Agro Tourism Centre is expanding its business to almost three times its capacity of attending customers in a day.
